Template:Short-Rationale
{{#invoke:Message box|imbox}}
Usage
Add this tag (do not subst) immediately above any licensing information. You may optionally specify a reason as the first parameter. Do not replace or remove any copyright or licensing information already present.
This template is meant to be used when the rationale given for a non-free image's use is limited, or does not adequately cover all the points mentioned in the Non-free content-criteria, to prompt discussion or review by other editors. If an image has blatantly false licensing information, such as a screen-shot of a recent film tagged as public domain, use one of the templates below.
Use this template if:
- The image has some rationale for the use of a non-free image, but it's limited.
Do not use this template if:
- No rationale at all is given. Use
{{subst:nrd}}
- There is no source information at all. Use
{{subst:nsd}}
. - There is no licensing information at all. Use
{{subst:nld}}
. - The image is possibly non-free as described at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images.
Images tagged with this template are placed in Category:Wikipedia files with short rationale
